my artist book..

I find myself struggling to fill my artist book, as I haven't done something everyday, so there's quite a few blank pages in my book.

I keep trying to find something to do, but it just doesn't seem to happen, I put it down to living in a tiny village with nothing much to do .. and pretty much no transport to get anyway .. :( and + ive been working like constantly and there's only so much you can write/draw about the co-op!

so here's just a few snaps of my work so far..

painted out in the fields.
 I really like this image, the natural colours are so beautiful, and I really like the textures. Although im really pleased with the outcome, now I think I should have used natural materials, such as mud/dirt, grass, im totally considering going out and re-doing this image, what do you think ?.. I was also considering using the quote
A great wind is blowing, and that gives you either imagination or a headache " but im not sure i like it.. does it kill the beauty of the image ?.. opinions please!

a new beginning
So the day before I made this page id had a pretty bad day, and someone quoted this to me, and if im honest they are so right.. so when your having a bad day always remember tomorrows a new day, a new beginning.
I made this page by ripping dates out of a diary and sticking them onto a page in my book. unfortunately id already wrote the quote on the page, before id come up with the idea, but im considering covering up the text and writing over the diary pages ? what do you think would look best?..

well that's all I have to show for today!

T-Shirt Printing.

Model = Jodie Wright :)
Clothes = T-Shirt - printed by oneself,
               Skirt - hooch
So at college ive been T-shirt printing, its still work in progress but if im honest im so pleased with it so far, I just had to show it off. - For all that cant see the design its a beautiful butterfly print, made from etching into plastic and using inks to print onto the fabric. The next step for the t-shirt is to make a similar stencil to cover the back panel of the t-shirt.
Keep an eye out for the updated version.
