Portfolio pictures.

So i just realized I'd posted about my Ipswich interview going really well, but didn't include any pictures that where included in my portfolio so i thought id put some up now.
One of the main themes inside my portfolio was telling stories through photographs, Although the exact story behind the images isn't obvious if you read between the lines it becomes more apparent.

I personally feel that as single images these may not be very interesting, but put together in group of three they reflect each other to create interesting stories.

Concrete jungle.

So unless you cant guess from the title of this post I've been to NEW YORK CITY! It was quite a while ago now and I cant believe I haven't posted about it already, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! Firstly I'd like to thank my parents for helping me get the money together to go, and my darling friends for an amazing time while we where out there!

While in New York we visited The Empire State Building at o'clock in the morning, I took this opportunity to  do some experimental photography with the lights, and I'm really pleased with the outcome of these photos.

Good News.

I got my first uni offer yesterday, a conditional from ucs-Ipswich to do photography, im so excited the interviewer said i had natural talent and that he couldn't wait to work with me on the course! YAYAY.

Nego.

Okay so I've just recently started a 5 week project. That I worked with my teachers to come up with a project brief . The final outcome was that I will be working on Indirect portraits, using objects in particular their favourite things. I'm also working along the theme of triptych (three). to create an interesting series of images.

I wanted the images to make the view consider what they think the person is like, as I feel that people are judged by what they look like ?
Just cause your a punk rocker does that mean you cant like knitting?
just cause you wear dresses does that mean you cant play football ?

Next time you see someone you think looks different, think about what their personality might be like and don't just judge them on what they look like.

My 1st Wedding.

Here's a few shots I got from a dear friends wedding, which I was asked to be photographer. I got some truly beautiful images which I'm really happy with the outcome of , and I'm really pleased to say the happy couple were too.
